Who can join this
This cruise requires moderate mobility. Embarkation and disembarkation involve a gangway and steps; some ports have uneven stone quays. Onboard public areas use stairs between decks; cabins may have one or two steps at the doorway. Shore excursions include walking on uneven ancient stone, steep ramps at temples, and sandy surfaces at riverbanks. Wheelchair access is limited: most vessels do not have full gangway lifts and narrow passageways restrict maneuvering. If you use a wheelchair, contact us before booking so we can advise on which vessel classes and excursion options are possible and arrange assistance at airports and ports where available.

Children 0–5.99 years travel free. Children aged 6–11.99 years pay 50% of the adult fare. Children 12 years and older pay the full adult price. Children must share a cabin with their parents, maximum one child per cabin; two or more children require a separate cabin. Strollers are practical onshore but can be awkward during embarkation and at some quays; family cabins are limited, so request them at booking.

Shore transfers use modern air-conditioned coaches, typically Toyota or Mercedes models, provided by local companies with registered drivers. We contract locally for excursions and hospitality, so passenger spending supports Egyptian crew, guides, and small businesses in Luxor and Aswan. Onboard, single-use plastics are limited where the cruise partner has adopted refillable water stations; we encourage guests to bring reusable bottles.
