Who can join this
We are a licensed Egyptian tour operator and we arrange embarkation, disembarkation and shore excursions with accessibility needs in mind. The vessel has multiple staircases between decks, and many cabins are accessed by steps or narrow corridors; fully level, wheelchair-accessible cabins are rarely available. Gangways at embarkation and disembarkation can be steep and move with the river, and some temple landings require stepping onto uneven stone or sand. Shore excursions include cobblestones, steep stairs at temples and the Valley of the Kings, and soft sand at riverbanks. If you use a wheelchair or have reduced mobility, tell us before booking so we can advise on suitability, request assistance from port staff where possible, and arrange vehicle transfers with tail lifts when available. Service dogs may be accepted but must be declared in advance. We can provide detailed, site-by-site accessibility notes on request, and the final booking confirmation will list any mobility equipment we can arrange locally.

Children 0 to 5.99 years travel free; children 6 to 11.99 years pay 50% of the adult price; children 12 years and older pay the full adult price. Children must share a cabin with their parents, with a maximum of one child per cabin; two or more children require their own cabin. Cribs and high chairs are sometimes available from hotels and restaurants ashore but are not guaranteed on the vessel, so bring a travel stroller if needed; narrow corridors and cabin doorways can make standard strollers impractical on board.

The vessel sails on the Nile using diesel-powered engines managed by the cruise operator; fuel consumption and emissions are therefore inherent to this product. For land transfers between airports and the embarkation port we arrange modern, air-conditioned coaches or minibuses that meet local road-safety regulations. We prioritize local suppliers for food and services, sourcing fresh produce and bread from markets in Luxor and Aswan to support small businesses and farmers. Crew and excursion staff are hired locally and paid according to the cruise line's policies, which helps local employment. On board we encourage water-bottle refills rather than single-use bottles, and we ask guests to reuse towels and linens to reduce laundry water use.
